The demo is the opening chapter

The free demo covers the opening through Chapter 1, so you can try story battles and exploration together. Follow the current story objective when you want to progress; use the optional checklist below when you want to check the chapter’s tablet shards. Square Enix GamerFuzion’s played-demo report

Check these twelve tablet-shard pickups

The two full-game location guides each list these twelve pickups in Chapter 1. Check the landmark, not a walkthrough’s item number, because the guides visit some places in a different order. PowerPyx RPG Site

What this checklist completes

Use this page to check the chapter boundary and twelve tablet-shard locations. It does not contain a room-by-room route for every treasure chest or a complete optional-boss strategy. Finishing the story objective and checking all twelve shards are separate milestones; neither alone proves that every optional treasure is collected.

For the battle systems, use the gameplay guide. For the collector and later shard total, use the tablet-shard guide.
